Prince’s new album should be out in stores today. I’ve got to work tonight, so I’m going to head to Tower as soon as they open and pick up the cassette for my Walkman. Can’t wear it on the floor, but I can jam until I have to go in to work. The album is supposed to basically be the soundtrack for his movie coming out next month, so I’m hoping by listening it’ll give me an idea of how the movie will be.

Speaking of, that reminds me. I need to make an appointment to take Elvira in to get that Blaupunkt system I wanted installed. With new speakers, it’ll be totally awesome.

In other news, I think I’m going to try smudging my suite at the MGM. It’s a fantastic perk to have the room, but ever since the fire, I always feel likes somebody’s watching me… and I have no privacy. When the casino is slow, I feel it there, too, but there’s usually so many people there that there’s enough, I don’t know, interference? So I don’t get so wigged out. I may run it past Elaine to see if she wants to help… and to see if she has any sage. I hate going to the shops in town because most everybody there is a grifter just trying to make a buck off the tourists. That’s one thing about living here… it can be tough to find someone genuine. Vegas isn’t like it used to be. I guess it’s better than when the mob ran things, and there are still some low-level ones left, but corporations are moving in and they just ruin everything.
